Anti Ragging
The Anti-ragging committee formed in our institution aims at making our campus ragging free. As per the guide lines issued by the supreme court of India and the Anti-ragging measures of state and Centre function as the basic pillar of this committee.Anti-Ragging Cell of our college assures that LISSAH campus is a Ragging free campus and we maintain only zero tolerance against ragging cases. The cell is constituted under the leadership of principal, staff members, student representatives, PTA members etc, local police officers, media representatives, social workers etc. The anti-ragging affidavit is filled and submitted by both the parents and students at the time of admission itself. All the students were given the code of conduct of our college during the common Induction Programme in the opening days.As per the order of Supreme Court of India and subsequent Notification from University Grants Commission (UGC), ragging constitutes one or more of any intention by any student or group of students on Any act of Indiscipline, Teasing or Handling with Rudeness. Any act that Prevents, Disrupts the Regular Academic Activity. Any activity which is likely to cause Annoyance, hardship, Psychological Harm or creates Fear or Apprehension. Any Act of Financial Extortion or Forceful Expenditure. Any Act of Physical Abuse causing Assault, Harm or danger to Health.
Aims and Objectives
To build and Preserving a Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the Campus.
To engage in the works of checking places like Hostels, Buses, Canteens, Classrooms and other places of student congregation, for any incidences of Ragging.
To educate the students at large in the institute about Menace of Ragging and related Punishment Provisions.
To design strategies and action plan for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the campus by adopting array of activities
